Some time ago yes, v4.x IIRC.

The ports system is/was cool, it was the first package management
system that I came across although it doesn't beat apt IMO.

I never really got my head around the shared startup scripts, though.
rc.local is v useful (and relatively easy to emulate) but I much
prefer the init.d type scripts and runlevel symlinking.

Hi to the group, BTW. I'm moving my family to your area in the next 2
