[Malvern] Bios issues?

Hi Cheryl,

It was probably me, though the problem has gone away - the guy no longer 
wants Linux on that machine.

However, I did find out that BIOSs will usually only boot from a CD/DVD 
drive which is wired as the "master" on each ide line.
I have no idea how regular this may be.
