[Malvern] Fixing HP Laserjets?

I suspect that for the price of an LS4 drum, you could get a colour
machine, now. I saw a Samsung colour unit on offer at PC World (of all
places) for £250 in early December. When I checked out the unit details,
it came up as quite high spec, originally £500, and a set of cartridges
cost £240, but the equivalent cost of inkjet for the same number of
copies was around £2000.

Mono lasers should be just as cheap - hunt around. LS4 mechs are
seriously old hat, now, so the spares prices are rising, for the usual
reasons: lack of production and cost of handling and storage, so soak
those who are still trying to run the old machines (even if they were
built to last like tanks!).
