Not so - it is an excellent distro,  and I used to use it myself before 
I found Debian.

The problem is that they were bought out by Novell, who in turn have 
sold out to
Microsoft in a "we will not sue each other" deal.   They are attempting 
to bring down#
the GPL , and with it the Free Software Movement.

SuSE is therefore tainted by Microsoft.
