[Malvern] Concerning apt-get.

Phil might know the answer to this one ...

Does "apt-get install"  understand regular expressions ?

Can I do the following :     apt-get  install  gnome*    ,

and will it install the whole gamut of files that start with "gnome"   
(in this proposed example)  ?

I haven't tried this idea yet - I thought I would  ask the group experts 
first.

Rick -  I tried gnome again recently - it found greater favour than 
previously !  Is it your
regular desktop ?    I think it might be.
