Its desktop Chris - otherwise would happily drag it along! As for the netgear - i'll chck on it when can pull it out of dads pc again. I am sure though that was the one I purchased specifically to use with Fedora Core 1 and had issues so purchased an extrememly long length of cable instead as I simply couldnt be bothered at the time

Unfortunatly dad is still against cat5 trainling around the house for some reason.
