Noting that debian packages up non free things like mp3 software (albeit
in a directory called non-free). Is Gobuntu not going to support,
package or even describe where to download from 3rd parties, all
patented things like said mp3 format software?

(Not that you'd need to, if you wanted such software you'd just use a
slightly different flavour of Umbongo)
