Yes Ian - I saw that . 

The main idea was that huge numbers of pirated copies of Windo$e are in use,
and that there's no incentive to use FOSS.

Micro$oft themselves are probably glad that this erodes the uptake of Linux.
Their main revenue comes from the corporate sector anyway.
