[Malvern] ACER Aspire one Netbook.

I have one, I got mine (512MB w/ 120GB hard drive and linux) for 210UKP
in late November from Play. I knew the SSD versions were down to 180 or
so but I was surprised to see one seller in Google shopping listing it
at 134 (but out of stock).

I think the _very_ first thing I typed on it when I first booted Linpus
was alt-F2 (NOT ctrl) and xterm. It now runs Fedora with all the power
saving tips I could find (plus Umbongo 8.04 in a VM though sometimes!).
I also bought a larger battery and it has reported 10h remaining life
and a drain of <8w in powertop, of course actually using the thing makes
it use more power than sitting literally doing nothing so a realistic
time is more like 7h.

Overall, nice machine (except for the ram upgrade process and the
standard battery life).

cheers

Rick
