A great wierdness has descended.

I used to make great use of kghostview   for displaying  postscript files.
Postscript is my principal graphics  programming language.

I now find,  that it will only run as "root".

I have completely re-installed KDE (and all its bits)  twice.

It is clearly something to do with either the mount point,  or with 
permissions.

I have other  Debian "Lennie"  systems,  and they have no problems.

Any ideas ?
