Hi Guys, Back in town for the summer now .... when the indian nosh up ? Is it tonight ?
Anyroadup , here we go .....

I have to maintain an old laptop with xp cos just about the only software I am short of in linux is a fully featured OCR program
by fully featured I mean specifically
1. batch scanning2. creation of searchable pdfs
and not a command line single page at a time scanner which creates a text document without any formatting..
I used abby finereader on windows .... anyone else scanning all their paper ? any suggestions ?I am happy to demo the paperless project if any of you have an interest ?
I have a scanner that scans at 50 pages per minute double sided...which is ideal for photos too ...anyroadup, let me know your thoughts
