Just heard about this local talk which may appeal to many of you:

Dr David Evans of the Nuclear Physics Research group at Birmingham 
University will give a talk on "Recreating the Big Bang with the world's 
largest machine - the LHC at CERN", to Coventry & Warwickshire 
Astromonical Society (http://www.covastro.org.uk/ & 
http://uk.groups.yahoo.com/group/covwarksastro/). This is a change to 
their original programme.

You are most welcome to attend.
Friday 10th August
Beginning at 7:15pm
at Earlsdon Methodist Church Hall, Earlsdon Avenue South, Earlsdon, 
Coventry, CV5 6NF.
It is free for first time visitors and anyone who brings a Higgs Boson.
