[Malvern] Posible malware on BTyahoo.

I have been plagued recently with numerous mails wanting me to
upgrade my email service by "clicking here".
They purport to originate from BT,  and sometimes bear the signature
of the Managing Director customer services.
I cannot see why BT cannot go ahead and make the improvements
unilaterally.  I am very reluctant ever to "click here". I once had my
mail system hi-jacked by scammers.
Can anyone offer an opinion  on thid ?
