[Newark] Plan9

I'm interested in giving it a try, I'll get around to it eventually. It
always has seemed a shame that certain systems are missing from Unix's
virtual filesystems, notably the network. It's a shame Plan 9 didn't take
off back when it was first released, it suffered from the same fate of most
new operating systems: Unix is good enough. There was so much inertia what
with all the companies and users that ran Unix, all the money and time
invested in it, that few people wanted a change even if it was to a better
system. Some might say that's why C++ could never simply succeed C. Funnily
enough, that was made at Bell Labs, too, along with Unix, C and Plan 9. It's
unfair but perfectly to be expected that (perhaps) superior systems are just
ignored because the problems with the old ones aren't quite crippling.
