Hi all,
Don't forget that the meeting this month (on Wednesday - tomorrow) is
at a different location to usual.
We are meeting in the Chilwell road methodist church in Beeston for a
slightly more formal type of meeting. It is intended to be a
presentation and workshop on "Networking your House for Broadband" to
give people a chance to use their broadband connection most effectively
(and play network games - woo :)
Directions and maps:
http://www.users.surfaid.org/~chilwell/
The Methodist cathedral church, not the Parish St. Johns Church.
Down the right hand side (car park area), big side door.
Railway station is 10minutes walk away (up Station Road, along through
the
square).
Bus numbers NCT 12 + 38; get off at Beeston Bus Station and walk
(5mins)
Bus numbers NCT 13 + 36 + 37, Bartons 505 + R5; two stops after bus
stn.
(ring bell when you see the police station).
*There IS easy free parking*
30minutes walk from University, 10mins by bus, 30mins to town.
The meeting is due to start at 7.30pm with a presentation at 8.00pm and
cable making later on.
We will move onto a pub afterwards, which is going to the the `Last
Post' (wetherspoons) which is 2minutes back to
the middle of Beeston rather than 10minutes in the other direction; it
understands the term `non-smoking section' too.
If you've not been before this would be an ideal time to come along.
Hope to see you there!
Roger
