[Nottingham] linux laptop with printing

I am the guilty party with the thinkpad :)
Its a TP770 9548-400 (P200mmx, 192m ram, 3.1Gb disc).

Working: Xfree86 4.1, Gnome 1.4, USB sync to handspring visor, USB to
NTL cable modem.

ToDo: Sound, Printing, IrDa(configured but not yet talking to my
Ericsson T39)

Currently using Debian 3.0Woody distribution.
Not tried to configure printing yet.
