Greetings!
The expo was great :) Lots of people, lots of talks, stands etc.. A good day
out!

Aye, there was the UK Unix Users group (if that counts) and the local one, I
forget the name :)
> Debian
A whole horde of them, with some ipaqs that they'd taken apart and installed
debian on for a laugh :)
> Kde
To be sure, I was helping out on the stand. 'twas right next door to the
debian guys, and we recieved lots of interest - mostly business people
getting excictied about the new koffice access clone (kexi)
> Gnome
None to be seen, although there was a solitary fellow from ximian who came and
said hello..
All in all, a very intesting experience - I went to the 2.6 kernel talk by our
dear Alan Cox, which was good - apparently in 2.6 you'll be able to ban
applications from e.g. using the network, whenever they access certain files
(e.g. your credit card details :) All exciting stuff. And I was working with
a guy who writes articles for Linux Format (Jono Bacon)

Philip
