Hello,

The last few days have been mostly consumed by work on a board port and
rebuilding libraries while debugging ethernet and so on etc.

However I should have some time today and tomorrow to look at this problem
some more and have now unpacked and briefly looked at the files.

My first impression is that I would not want to use this driver on an SMP
machine and I would appreciate it if Simon could say if he has tried this
on a kernel without SMP support compiled in however I will provide a
complete followup later on.
