LWN have led with the Verisign issue on Frontpage of the weekly addition.  One 
of the effects, is that spam filtering based on checking fake return 
addresses for non-existant domains no longer works.

There's a patch out for Bind 9 which disables Verisign's wildcard entries that  
they added .com and .net.  http://www.imperialviolet.org/dnsfix.html
