Yes. The DVD is by far preferable to avoid cd juggling.

The 'Madrake' Mandrake is my favourite at the moment. The 10.0 
'Community Edition' is a sort of 'release candidate' and will have lots 
of updates to download. You can join up to the Mandrake Club to download 
the debugged '10.0.1 Official', or wait a while for it to percolate out.

10.0.1 is very bleedin edge and looks good. Upgrade is in progress!
