I've not got the box with me at work now, but the fix involves putting something
Along the lines of:
Option 	"hw_cursor"	"false"

In /etc/X11/XF86Config-4. I think it goes in the mouse section, but I'd need to look 
to be sure.
I can post my XF86Config if you need it.
