Yes of course they did! They weren't primitive ya know!!
They might well have used sliding bits of wood, or balls or blobs or
sticks 'n' things, and were a bit slower than our nefarious blobs of
electrons, but they were damned reliable and were never painted blue.
Then there were also the really advanced stuff using metal wheels and
cogs 'n' all manner of strange ingenious contraptions.
You also sometimes had a room of people, paper, and lots of pencils
called a "calculator" or "computer"...
Now... back in the days of Amen-Ra and pyramids... Now there stands some
fantastic calculations!
