The easiest compromise is to have your common stuff on the FAT and 
symlink across. You can restrict access from the Linux side. You're wide 
open on the Win side of course.

Or try 2.6 and NTFS...

Or you could use some form of synching one to the other.

Or stay on Linux!

Use WINE if you must go Windoze??
