Hi

Linux Format came today with Fedora Core 2 on
the DVD

It has a big write-up on a problem with stuff
in the MBR which Windows don't like.
(Seems Kernel 2.6 does something anaconda
doesn't control.)

The write-up gives the impression that W'
will just refuse to load if there is the
problem though.

Anyway, there is a magic command line quoted.
(I suspect sods law of pytogarphical erras,
so won't quote it now.)
(Better to access the rag, or re-post.)

HTH

Pete

BTW
Fedora core 1 won't play with my disks at
all.
Completely screws my MBR, a nightmare to
recover from.
(I haven't tried FC2!)(Yet.)
Isn't FC1 kernel 2.4?
