Just a bit of 'netetiquette'(sp?)...

This is a reply to your post to nottingham at mailman.lug.org.uk

A reference to the id of your post is included in the headers. A chain 
of such id references is known as and displayed as a 'thread'. You get a 
useful hierarchical tree of postings that have appropriate 'connectedness'.


Alternatively, if you compose a new message and send it to 
nottingham at mailman.lug.org.uk, then there is no "In-Reply-To" reference 
and you have in effect started a new thread.
