[Nottingham] Installation problems - Mandrake 10

Computers... Don'cha love 'em :-)

After its refusal to install Mandrake over a couple of days and numerous 
attempts, we had one last go with Peter's machine this evening.  Went 
like a dream.

It must have been some combination of dust on a CD and the particular 
drive, or something (or just plain ordinary PC cussedness) - but we now 
have it up & running.

Might well still take up the offer of a Xandros set, though....
