I have my suspicions on certain random NTL transparent proxies... I can 
force trouble free operation for a while by explicitly selecting a named 
proxy, until they then tweak their system or that one box gets overloaded...

Strangely, geocities sites seem the worse affected for me and sometimes 
fail to even load up!

Aaaarrrrrrrrghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!


Meanwhile, lots of other more interesting things to do and fix first (:-))


...OK, my browser cache is set to reload a page "when the page is out of 
date". What TTL is on the nlug pages? (To be looked at later...)
