We ask those who turn up what they want to hear. Occasionally those discussions
spill onto the list. The perl talks came about because people said they
wanted to know something usefull for web playfullness.

Have you asked 'would anyone be interested in a talk on foo' ?
Our audience tends to have a wide range of interests and abilities.

IMHO on-line polls suck.

We did conduct an excersise to gather suggestions from the list before the start
of the year and into January. Hence the current ever morphing calendar.

A necessary pre-requisite to a suggestions page is for more people to
volunteer their expertise (or lack of), or contacts/friends (re: Richard Hegg's
and Dave Jones' talks last year).

Have fun,
Duncan
