[Nottingham] Sarge+2.6+nVidia - easy install wanted

Hi

I'm dying to get nVidia acceleration running on Sarge but I have a 2.6.5 
kernel and the only binary packages available from my source list are for 2.4 
kernels. There's an nvidia-kernel-source package but that wants to pull the 
2.4 binaries as dependencies (when using aptitude) so I'm not sure if its a 
good path to follow (I don't want to find myself in a broken state).

Are there any other Sarge+2.6+nvidia users here who've accellerated their gfx 
and if so was it through apt/dpkg alone?
