Yes. This is no problem, but I prefer yum. You can even use a limited 
(but it's coming along) GUI called YUMI. Just perform "yum install yumi"

Download my yum.conf from http://www.avexnet.co.uk/yum.conf I have set 
it up to use mirrors and it's quite complete (took me long enough)
