It's really NOT a Windows mentality; it's a practice I adopted
as a consequence of managing Solaris servers. Not that it was
Solaris' fault, but I've seen too many servers buggered by
applications with memory leaks to let my own boxes run without
a regular reboot. It's a good habit.
