[Nottingham] Minimum Linux distro

OK, sorry, I'm being lazy (or rather rushed on other things! :( )...

What's the latest flavour of the month for a small footprint 
command-line Linux distro to quickly get an x86 box up and running. I 
know there's that 'Business Card' distro. What others are there that 
will run from a USB key for example that anyone has experience of?

(Networking utils required on it also :) )
