Hi Martin,

Thanks a lot, that sorted it - after disconnecting both, then reattaching then 
one by one, the system picked them both up perfectly.

My fstab now looks pretty much like this^ :)

I don't know; I've never told it to, it's the way it installed. In deference 
to the ?(!) above I've now changed my floppy line to resemble yours, and all 
seems fine (read/write etc).

What is supermount, and why should one not use it?
