[Nottingham] LAN Fix-it Evening (not 5th Oct)

Folks,

Eeeeeek... Time flies.

At the moment my best plans are to move the LAN Fix-it evening to the 
weekend of 8th/9th Oct so that we get more time to play. Our last few 
sessions have been rather cramped by having to bail out hurriedly before 
pumpkin-time. So a Sat/Sun must be better for better timed playing.

I've got one venue lined up in Beeston that we can use on either of Sat 
and/or Sun and ADR has kindly agreed to provide broadband access for us 
for 72 hours for free.

I'm also waiting for a reply for whether we use our best LAN venue 
instead...


Meanwhile, the 5th is open for any favoured or requested talks.

My favoured idea is for a FOSS and "what is Linux all about" general 
introduction/talk. As usual, we've slipped into too much high geekieness 
of late and its time for us to get regrounded.
