I don't think its FUD, but it's not really news either.  Once you have
had untrusted binaries doing unknown things with administrator privleges
then your system isn't trustably recoverable.  That's not a windows
hazard, its true everywhere.

What _is_ a windows thing though is generally everyone (and hence
everything they run) having administrator privileges, so it is more of a
risk for windows users.  Whether Microsoft have addressed this in Vista
or not I have no idea.
