[Nottingham] computer bits and pieces

Hi,

Can anyone offer suggestions of a suitable plug-in wireless lan card for
my Compaq laptop? I am running Fedora Core on it (if that makes any
difference).

I also have some old gear to 'dispose' of. My old trusty firewall in a
mini tower with a monochrome screen (about 12inches diagonal). Anyone
interested, or do I offer to recycle it (somewhere?)
