[Nottingham] Christmas LUG meet

Hello,

I don't think I'll be able to go to that Christmas dinner in Nottingham 
as I'll be busy doing my music like I do every evening. I'm sorry, I 
hope someone else can take my place. Does anyone know of a Linux program 
that can change .midi files into wav files but that isn't timidity (it 
doesn't sound good enough in Timidity)? Has anyone ever tried Ardour? Is 
it any good? Bye for now.
