Hi Hazel,

I have rosegarden on my Fedora box, and it does not convert to wav
format. It is great for taking what my daughter plays on the yamaha
keyboard and printing it out in full musical notation, then we can edit
it and correct the wrong notes.

I think what you need is TiMIDIty++
