[Nottingham] No sound after upgrading to 2.6 kernel

Hi folks,

Since upgrading from kernel 2.4.18 to 2.6.12 I've had no sound.  It worked fine before.  Card is a SoundBlaster Live.  Kernel was upgraded with apt-get - I haven't compiled it.  I've also installed alsa-base and alsa-utils, and rebooted, but to no avail.
