You beat me to it!

Although not true multicasting, with a decent switch you can get good
speeds using bittorrent.

However at 100Mb and above CPU can be your bottleneck depending on the
machine and client used.

Does anyone have a real multicasting answer to Martin's question?  I'd
be interested myself actually.
