Paul: all you need do is run through YaST and install the NVidia driver 
as /update/ not install. You'll know you've got it right when you boot up - 
right before the framebuffer starts up you'll get the NVidia splash (mine 
does - Dell C840 P4/2.0 with NVidia GeForce Go 440 64MB, full OGL support). 
TuxRacer never looked so good. Or ran so smoothly. :)
