[Nottingham] Thinkpad power supply?

Probably a bit unlikely, but has anyone got a pwwer supply for an IBM Thinkpad 
they don't want?  I *think* the problem I have with my daughter's laptop is 
just a dead power supply, but I'm reluctant to go buying one in case it turns 
out to be more than that...

Actually, even if anyone has one I could borrow for a bit, that would at least 
confirm what the problem is....
