[Nottingham] Network question - google unreachable?!

Peter,

  Thanks for the suggestions! I tried keying in 64.233.183.104 with Firefox, and it reached google ok. So do the other 3 ip addresses you gave. It works with Safari also. Simultaneously, using the google urls still comes up with "server not found". That points to the ISP. 

Here are some commands I tried:

  It seems clear that there is a problem in the ISP's network. I will follow up with the apartment folks. I'm curious though as to how this can happen. I can believe their DNS lookup has a problem, but with such a popular site as google, that's very strange.
