It doesn't surprise me that they want to get rid of
this, I bet half the BBP (broadband providers) are
sweating buckets over the fact that they can't deliver
8Mbps to end users. Although 8Mbps sounds alot soon
the mass adoption of IPTV, (legal) movie downloads and
HD content mean the average customer will be using as
much as an illegal downloader would, in other words
the networks grind to halt.

I seem to recall another chap I know had one and he
was able to change jobs as the other company took on
the work permit, so I do think you have to get the
other company to take up the work permit (but I'm no
expert!!).

It will be interesting to see what else goes, it might
end up being another company that just bought to build
it self up to sold on piece by piece, the winners are
the upper management who get huge cash settlements.
