[Nottingham] MP3 player not connecting

Hello

Can anyone tell me why my Phillips DAB Radio DA1102 with MP3 player has stopped connecting on my computer, please? And how I can get it up and running again.

When I plug it into the USB port, the player lights up but there is no corresponding window showing up on the monitor.

I have this problem using Ubuntu, but not with W indows XP
