There is some confusion there somewhere for how proxies are set up and 
whether they are used or not by whatever software... That tripped up a 
very experienced user.

It is small details like that for which new "look-see" users will just 
give up and go back to whatever other OS they may be more familiar with...

So... Worth fixing?
