Perhaps that's because Torvalds cares about people, computers and freedom whereas Gates, Ballmer, Jobs et al are just 'money-grubbing gringoes'.
I've not seen this in a while, so I'll say it again; 'In a world without walls and fences, who needs windows and gates?'

It's quite a contrast, isn't it. Steve is so keen to put Linux down and
preserve his company's profits at all costs. While Linus doesn't care
about the money, says sensible things and refuses to insult Microsoft.
He holds real authority.
