I know that lurking feeling... hello *waves* :)

I'm currently packaging TexGen 3.3.2 for Debian (unstable) and Ubuntu
(Lucid+).

There's a slightly hold-up since Ubuntu Lucid only carries VTK 5.2.1
whereas TexGen needs 5.4+ so I've had to import that from Debian, fix
some FTBFS bugs, and push it to my Ubuntu PPA. There look to be some
issues with the Debian package not bothering to install some files built
by VTK which I'll need to investigate.

Locally, I can now get quite a way a long way through the build process
with TexGen so I'm guessing I may have it in my PPA by next week.

Once its been checked out by users maybe its worth you taking over the
package so that all Debian/Ubuntu users can get it from the archives?
