I stopped noticing top/bottom posting when I started using gmail. I
still prefer a well edited and composed message but there is less in
it these days.

I also don't mind the odd html email, it's worth it to have a few
pictures, code that looks like code and coloured text on the odd
occasion it's needed. Yes there are abuses and there are technological
pitfalls but on the whole it can improve communication... IMHO!
