[Nottingham] DDOS

I seem to be being hammered by a flood of UDP packets from about 15
different address at an on going rate of about 300 Kbps. Just installed
etherape as the network connection was crawling. It shows I am getting hit a
lot from Poland and Japan. The only ports open in the router are for http
and ssl. Where do I go from here to block it or is it even possible?
